JOMA (Properties) Ltd. is a real estate development and management company in Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands. We are seeking a Facilities Technician to join our maintenance team.

Job Requirements:

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including service logs and inspection reports.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Assist in the planning, budgeting and implementation of facility projects.
• Undertake any other routine maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Technical certification or associate degree in mechanical, electrical or plumbing field is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.

Good English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
