As a Marine Technician/Captain with SYNERGY HR VI, your role will encompass both technical and operational responsibilities. You will oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the company’s fleet, which includes a range of vessels from small powerboats to larger yachts. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing marine engines, electrical systems, plumbing, and other essential onboard equipment. Routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fuel system repairs, and electronic diagnostics will also be part of your daily duties.
In addition to your role as a marine technician, you will serve as a captain for charter trips, guest excursions, and scheduled transports. As captain, your primary responsibility will be the safety of all passengers, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that the vessel is navigated with precision and care. You will also be responsible for managing crew members, planning routes, monitoring weather conditions, and providing a high level of customer service to guests.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of marine systems, the ability to operate and maintain a variety of vessels, and relevant certifications to captain boats safely and legally in the British Virgin Islands.
